Christine Fine

Sherrill Christine Fine, 84, of Walkertown, passed away April 10, 2025, at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by family.

Christine was born September 26, 1940, in Forsyth County, to William Henderson Redding Sr. and Mortie Shore Redding. She retired from Southern Belle after over 30 years of service and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. In her free time, Christine enjoyed shopping with her great-nephew, Cody; and she was also an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Fred Richard Fine Jr.; and three brothers, William “Bill” Henderson Redding Jr., James Coleman Redding, and Johnny Redding.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister in-law, Phyllis Redding; daughter-in-law, Cindy Fine; one nephew, Russell Redding (Susan); two great-nephews, Cole Redding (Ashley), and Cody Redding (Samantha); two great-great nephews, Caleb Redding, and Greyson Redding. Also surviving are numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amber Burleson and Lequita “Skeeter” Smith for all the help and wonderful care they gave their aunt.

No formal services will be held at this time.
