Cherry Darling Krech Fulcher, 60, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home in Lewisville, North Carolina. Cherry was born April 10, 1958 in Miami, Florida to the late M. Chapin "Hafey" Krech and Cherry Gross Newberry Krech. She was President of Meryl Chapin Designs and previously President of Cherry Contracting, Inc. in Lewisville. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she worked as a paralegal for Morgan, Lewis and Bockius in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Ransom Everglades School in Miami in 1976 and from Florida International University in Miami with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She was a wonderful mother and wife, a gifted artist, smart business woman, wonderful cook, and a lover of music, children, animals, and anyone in need. Quite simply unforgettable, she loved and was loved by a wide circle of family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Nelson Fulcher; a daughter, Caitlin Chapin of Miami, Florida; a step-daughter, Kristin Fulcher Reynolds and son-in-law, Matthew Reynolds and a grandchild, Penelope Rose Reynolds of Lewisville, North Carolina; two sisters, Lili Krech Neale and (David Andrew Neale) of Coconut Grove, Florida, Carol Darling Krech and (Noel Cleland) of Miami Florida; and three brothers, Barnes Newberry of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Timothy Chapin Krech (Phyllis Shankman) of Sandpoint, Idaho and David Shepard Krech of Miami, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
