Chauncey Alan Quick

Mr. Chauncey Alan Quick, 61, of High Point, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Mr. Quick was born in Guilford County, NC, on November 6, 1955, to Manning Jennings ""M.J."" Quick and Betty Luther Quick. Chauncey was a graduate of Ragsdale High School and served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and avid fan of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels. Mr. Quick was preceded in death by his mother and his beloved puppy, Sadie Mae. In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Elise McDowell and husband, Ches of Lexington, NC; three sisters, Sharon Quick of High Point, NC, Tonya Pinto and husband, Rick of Mint Hill, NC, and Sheila Wynn and husband, Jim of Archdale, NC; three nieces, Sophia Pinto, Gabrielle Pinto, and Alina Pinto; and two future twin grandchildren, Charles Franklin McDowell V and Mary Jennings ""M.J."" McDowell. A private memorial service will be held for Mr. Quick. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to National Right to Life, 512 10th St. NW, Washington, DC 20004. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mr. Quick.
