Mrs. Charline Eller Kyle, 86, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Brookridge Retirement Community. She was born March 17, 1922 in Macon County, Tennessee to Irvin David and Violet King Eller. Mrs. Kyle worked as a civilian packing parachutes for the military and that was how she met her husband, Alvin Thomas Kyle Sr., a pilot. She was active in her church, school and student foreign exchange programs. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and three brothers. Surviving are two sons, A.T. Kyle, Jr. ""Tom"" and wife Madeline of Port Orchard, Washington and David William Kyle and wife Lynn of Clovis, California; two daughers, Anita Kyle Williams and husband Dave of Beaufort, and Allyson Kyle Morillo and husband Patricio of Lewisville; one brother, Ted Eller and wife Pat of Travelers Rest, SC; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24 at College Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Ramon Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 23 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
