Charlie Tilley

Winston Salem – Mr. Charlie James Tilley passed away on October 22nd, 2021, at Kernersville Medical Center. He was born July 18th, 1928, to John and Lucy Noah Tilley. Charlie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Charlie loved to fish and hunt, and often enjoyed spending time in the mountains and on the beach. After his service to our country in the U.S. Army, he had a career in the motor freight industry as a truck driver.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Jones Tilley, his two daughters: Brenda Tilley and Charlene Davis, three grandchildren: Scott Banner, Shannon Draus (Chris), Jason Lee White, two great grandchildren: Jaxson Draus and Baylen Draus, and three siblings: Lloyd Tilley, Johnny Tilley (Vivva) and Lois Key.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26th 2021 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
