Charlie Berl Osborne

Kernersville - Mr. Charlie Berl Osborne, 82 crossed over Jordan to his heavenly home on February 27, 2010. He was born April 30, 1927 to the late Mary Parrish and John Calvin Osborne, Sr. Charlie was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church since 1951, he loved to hunt, fish and was an avid coin hunter. Charlie was a well known mechanic for over 58 yrs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, he was the last of 11 children. Surviving are; his loving wife of 58 yrs. who he called ""woman"", Ruth Brown Osborne, four daughters, Denise Loflin (Butch), Cindi Grubbs, Sheila Lawson (Keith), Angie Hancock (Sam), nine grandchildren; Chad Loflin (Amy), Jason Loflin, Amy Loflin Wall (Barry), Bridget Bredal (Eric), Natalie Loy, Justin Percival, Leah Loy, Bailey and Tanner Hancock, two great grandchildren, Jacob and Ben Loflin. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel by Dr. Joe Myers and Dr. Bobby Roberson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, March 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
