Charles Curtis Weavil

Mr. Charles Curtis Weavil, 53, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1957 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Henry Ray and Janice Reid Weavil. Mr. Weavil was a 1977 graduate of East Forsyth High School and was employed by National Pipe and Plastics Company. Survivors include two sisters, Janet Dickens and husband, Michael of Yadkinville and Carey Blanks and husband, Robert of Stokesdale; one brother, James Weavil of Atlanta, GA; one nephew, Foy Henry Dickens of Yadkinville; one uncle, Bill Flippin of Winston-Salem; and two cousins, Michael Flippin of Winston-Salem and Billy Flippin of Charlotte. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Norwood Green officiating.
