Charles Reed

Mr. Charles Walter Reed, 71, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Walnut Cove Health and Rehabilitation in Walnut Cove. He was born July 8, 1949 the son of Charles Riely Reed and Dallas Cecilia Andrews Reed. Mr. Reed proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Riely Reed; and a sister, Cheryl Morales. He is survived by his wife, Esther Reed; two sons, Toby Joe Reed and William Elsworth Reed; his mother, Dallas Andrews Reed; two sisters, Donna M. Combs and Maxine M. Reynolds (Scott); two brothers, Leo Dallas Reed and Tim Allen Reed; and his extended family. No formal services for Mr. Reed will be conducted at this time.
