Charles Triplette, Jr.

Mr. Charles Melton Triplette, Jr.,78, passed away on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020. He was born on November 5th, 1941 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Rev. Charles Melton Triplette, Sr. and Treva Barber Triplette. He joined the military and served in the Army as a young man. After his service, he worked in insurance and retired from Red Cross. Charles loved playing football and playing video games on his big television. He loved spending time with and helping his friend and neighbor Loretta. He was a loving father and grandfather, and enjoyed helping others whenever he could. He was known for his quick wit, sweet laughter, and his kind spirit. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Todd and granddaughter, Leah. He is survived by his daughter Susan and son-in-law Johnny, daughter Pamela, his granddaughter Niki, sister Beverly, and nephew and niece Tommy and Amy. A memorial  service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 15th, at the Historic Salisbury National Cemetery at 705 Hedrick St. Salisbury, NC 28144.
