Charles Lee "Bud" Sink

Charles Lee (Bud) Sink, 79 of Clemmons, NC passed away Sunday, November 29 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 9, 1936 in Arcadia to Perry Miller Sink and Lawrence Conrad Sink. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Luna Mae Brewer, one brother, Jerry Miller Sink, and one grandson, William Dean Sink Jr. Surviving are, his wife of fifty-six years, Audrey James Sink, sons Dean (Vickie) Sink, Gary Sink, Brett (Liane) Sink, and one daughter Linda (Dean) Woosley. Grandchildren Tiffany (Charlie) Herrin, Mandy (Brock) Swaim, Jessie (Curtis) Wallace, Taylor Sink, Matthew Woosley, and Katie Woosley. Great grandchildren Trevor Herrin, Ayden Swaim, and Kaitlyn Swaim. Also surviving are sisters, Jean (Carlton) Forrest, Libby (Bryce) Leonard, Nancy Sink, and brothers, Wayne Sink, Jim Sink, and Barry (Shelia) Sink; an uncle, Clint and wife Marie Sink; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bud was a hardworking man who spent a lot of time outdoors on his farm and rabbit hunting. A special thanks to his friends and hunting buddies Bill Hill, Buddy Sink, Jerry Freedle, Mark Stabler, Toby Cranfield, Joe Glenn Huffman, and Jerry Yountz. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hayworth Miller, Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Jamie Sink officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:45 am at Hayworth Miller.
