Kernersville – Charles “Paul” Randolph, 74, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Shiawasee County, MI to the late Charles Roland and Eileen Mae Curry Randolph. Paul graduated from Southern Pilgram College, now known as Kernersville Wesleyan College. He then continued his education and graduated from High Point College. Paul loved many sports such as bowling, basketball, skiing, and especially softball. He started softball as a child and eventually became a part of the 60’s and Over softball team, and was well known to many as the Umpire for many games. The one thing Paul loved the most was his family, and they meant the most to him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will truly be missed.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Charleen Hicks.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Deborah “Debbie” Randolph; two sons, Erik Brandon Randolph (Angela), and Travis Paul Randolph (Pamela) ; five grandchildren, Chase, Kobe, Irie, Constance, and Watson; two great grandchildren, C.J., and Kendra; one sister, Martha McKaughn (Dick); many special nieces and nephews; one half-sister, Lori Scwarzkopf (Steve); and two half-brothers, Steve Randolph (Michelle), and Mark Randolph (Kathy).
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Kernersville Wesleyan Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kernersville Wesleyan Church c/o Dr. Record’s Fellowship Class 930 N Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284 or Palliative Care Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation 1701 South Hawthorne Rd Winston-Salem, NC 27103 US.
