Charles Robert Bob" Park

Mr. Charles Robert ""Bob"" Park 83, died May 7, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Park was born July 17, 1926 in Boonville NC to John Addison and Ruth Edwards Park. He retired from Western Electric Company with 34 years of service and was an active member of Ardmore Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack E. Park. Mr. Parks is survived by his wife of 57 years Tha Jane Moore Park, one brother Daniel J Park (Sallie) of Elkin, two sisters Marylyn Casstevens (Frank) of Advance and Brenda Farthing of Mooresville, one brother -in-law William T Moore (Rose) Roanoke Rapids and several nieces, nephews, grand nephews and a grand niece. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 at 2:00PM at Ardmore Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Bill Ireland and Rev. Ty Talton. Entombment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum. .
