Charles Knight

Mr. Charles "Gray" Knight, 50, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by his family. Gray was born in Forsyth County on October 25, 1966 to Dennis Gray and Diane Crews Knight. Never meeting a stranger, Gray was kind to everyone he met and a friend to all. He worked for Pepsi and owned a lawnmowing service for over 20 years. Gray enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, and spending time on his farm with his Uncle Dewey. He also loved spending time with his family and watching Ryan play ball.

In addition to his father, Gray was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Diane Clifton and her husband, Don; sister, Ashley Knight; his life partner of ten years, Trina Ransom and her daughter Ryan Ransom; and aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

A funeral service for Gray will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor John Spry officiating. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
