Charles William Horton

KERNERSVILLE-Charles William Horton, 77, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born September 9, 1937 in Forsyth Co. to the late Sherman Bryant and Emma Pitts Horton.
Charles was known for riding his pony and golf cart around town. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are a nephew, Chad (Ginger) Horton; and two nieces, Tammy (Jonathan) Bousman and Dawn (Rodney) Spainhour.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
