Charles Edward Hodge

Mr. Charles Edward Hodge, 89, passed away May 31, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born November 26, 1926 to the late William Edward and Retha Viola Hodge in Carter County, Tn. Charles served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a Mason for many years in the Virginia Lodge. He had a special love for children, especially his nieces, nephews, and step children. He is survived by his spouse, Jane Hodge of 17 years; one son, William Hodge (Susan); One daughter Sharon Sue Truitt (Mike). A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park, 6850 University Parkway, Rural Hall, N.C. 27045 with Rev. Don McGee, officiating.
