Charles Cleo Hall, Sr.

Mr. Charles Cleo Hall, Sr. a loving husband, father, and provider died Sunday evening September 28, 2008. Mr. Hall was born July 9, 1925 in Stokes County to the late Jim Reed and late Lula Cardwell Hall. He was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church, Sunday School Superintendant for 24 years, Deacon at Bethany for 40 years and retired from Weaver Fertilizer Company. In addition to his parents Cleo was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are his wife of 62 years; Guelda L. Hall of the home. A daughter Ginger Heath of Winston-Salem. A son; Charles C. Hall, Jr. of Winston-Salem. One grandson; Jason Heath and one great granddaughter; Hannah Heath. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning, October 1, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethany Baptist Church in Winston-Salem by Rev. Don Harvey and Rev. Paul Riggs with burial to follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
