FULK - GERMANTON
Mr. Charles Ray Fulk passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 3, 1941 the son of the late Vera Arlene Westmoreland Fulk and Charlie H. Fulk. Mr. Fulk retired from Lucia Sportswear with 37 years of service and went to work at Wal-Mart and retired from there with almost 9 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulk was preceded in death by his grandparents; special aunts and uncles: Robert Westmoreland (Nan), Ethel Sapp (Larston), Rachel Sutherland (Charlie); two sisters-in-law: Martha Maines and Helen Lookabill; and two brothers-in-law: Buddy Lookabill and Junior Lookabill. Mr. Fulk is survived by his wife of 50 years: Linda L. Fulk; sisters-in-law: Grace Essick, Betty Jones (Roy), Gladys Kelly, Mary Handy (Jerry), and Anna Lookabill; several loving nephews, nieces-in-law, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; special neighbors: John and Pam Gippert, Richard Terry and very dear friends: Lori Taylor, Tammy Giles, Lois Slate, and Elma Edwards.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Paul Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the 6th floor North Tower and 8th floor Palliative Care at Forsyth Medical Center for the exceptional care given to Mr. Fulk.
