Charles Eddie Flanary

Mr. Charles Eddie Flanary, 74, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at his home. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on December 20, 1940 the son of the late Omer Wise Flanary and Dorothy Irwin Flanary. Mr. Flanary proudly served his country for 10 years in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He was a businessman and entrepreneur, starting M&S Mechanical which later became Airworks Inc. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three children; Michael Flanary, David Flanary and Lynn Bowman and a brother; Paul Flanary. He is survived by his wife; Louise Beck Flanary of the home, a daughter; Kathleen Karen Flanary, a son; Brady O'Neil Flanary (Teresa), four grandchildren; Dustin Flanary, Ashton Wagner, Bradley Flanary and Summer Nelson, a sister; Sandra F. Jenkins (Larry) and a brother; Jack Flanary. A graveside service with military rites will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
