Charles Davis

Mr. Charles Edward Davis, 77 of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008. Mr. Davis was born February 5, 1931 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Early and Gladys Conners Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and was retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of Service, where he served his Country in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Stephens Davis of the home; four children; Sandra Parrish and husband, Tommy of Winston-Salem, Gary Davis of Lewisville, David Davis of Greensboro, Steve Davis and wife, Jeannette of Charlotte; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a sister, Alma Jean Watson and a brother; Caldwell Davis both of Oneida, Tennessee. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13 at Covenant Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Kevin Conley. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Davis Famly
