Charles Donald Choplin

Mr. Charles Donald Choplin, 84, passed away April 10, 2017 at Hospice Home of Winston-Salem. He was born January 9, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late Charlie Burton Choplin and Sallie Elizabeth Choplin. Charles was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and of the Baptist faith. He was a loving and hardworking family man. He had a special family member he loved named ""Rusty"". He is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Choplin; his parents; one brother, Billy Choplin; one sister, Gaye Mathis. He is survived by three sons, Steve Choplin (Angie), Tony Choplin, Keith Choplin (Roxann); two daughters, Kathy and Linda, and their children; two grandchildren, Krista Wagoner (Scott), Tommy Smith (Michelle); four great-grandchildren, Zoe Wagoner, Saylor Wagoner, Amber Smith, Bradley Smith; three brothers, three sisters. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Rural Hall with Rev. Dwayne Young and Pastor Bob Choplin officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M.
