Charles Fredrick Blaylock

Mr. Charles Fredrick Blaylock, age 69 of Rural Hall passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Blaylock was born July 31, 1942 in Forsyth County to Thomas Washington Blaylock, Jr. and Daisy Mae Peoples Blaylock. He was a 1960 graduate of Northwest High School and a graduate of Forsyth Technical College. He retired after 32 years of employment with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. Mr. Blaylock was preceded in death by his parents and in 1980 by his daughter, Ronda Mechelle Blaylock. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 47 years, Lynne C. Blaylock of the home and his sister, Christine (Paul) Kautz of King, NC. He is also survived by a nephew' Jeff (Deb) Shouse and niece, Sherri Thigpen, special niece, Sherry (Tobin) Leonard and special nephews, Mark L Thomas, Robert Thomas, and Kevin Thomas; sister-in-law; Vicky (Mark) Thomas and father and mother-in-law; Ralph and Katherine Crews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Poplar Springs Church of Christ in King by Don Wallace, Minister. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall is serving the Blaylock family. Online condolences may be made at www. hayworth-miller.com
