Charles Raymond C.R." Beeson, Jr.

Mr. Charles Raymond ""C.R."" Beeson, Jr., 87, passed into the presence of Jesus on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Beeson was born September 12, 1923 in Forsyth County to Charles Raymond Beeson, Sr. and Hagar Yokley Beeson. C.R. was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church since 1942 and served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Beeson was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Beeson. Surviving are his loving wife, Anna S. Beeson of the home, his children James O. Beeson Sr. ( Mary Ann) of Clemmons and Martha Beeson West, of Tulsa Oklahoma; a grandson, James O. Beeson Jr.; his stepdaughters, Nina W. Boyd (Gary) of Lexington and Linda W. Beeson (Tim) of Midway; a stepson, David Wooten (Jennifer) of Welcome; five step-grandchildren and two step-great granddaughters; his aunts, Emma Dunn of Winston-Salem and Sara Lou McCrary (Billy Joe) of Welcome. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Friedberg Moravian Church with the Rev. G. Thomas Shelton and the Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard with military honors. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
