Charles "Shortman" Webster Beck

Walkertown - Mr. Charles ""Shortman"" Webster Beck, age 74, was born July 21, 1941in Rockingham Co. to the late George A. and Elnora Snead Beck. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family and grandchildren dearly. Charles was loved by all who knew him, he was the most kindhearted, loveable and honorable man. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; William A. Beck.

Surviving are; his loving wife; Jan Preston Beck, one daughter; Deanna Beck Whicker, three grandchildren; Dara M., Drew M., and Destin B. Hobson, one sister, Betty B. (Randy)Boaz, Uncle; Jim (Rose) Creed, and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
