Charles Lee Charlie" Badgett

Charles Lee Badgett, 54 of Winston-Salem, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Badgett was born July 7, 1955 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Jesse Lee Badgett and the late Bertie Marsh Badgett. He was a self employed contractor. Mr. Badgett is survived by his sisters, Libby Gunter and husband Jerry of Huntersville, and Judy Ayers of Winston-Salem; nephews, Jerry Gunter, Jr. and wife Kathryn, Matthew Ayers and fianc郩e Jeanna Brown, and Bradley Ayers. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Jerry Gibbons officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at White Plains Friends Meeting in Mt Airy. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
