Mr. Charles ""Skip"" Louis Adolph, III, of Winston-Salem died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Adolph was born March 14, 1940 in Windsor County, Vermont a son of the late Charles Adolph, Jr. and the late Rachel May Adolph. He was an US Army veteran, and retired from the City of Winston-Salem Water Treatment Plant. He was an avid hunter, NASCAR enthusiast, and loved to hear and tell a good joke. He lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Linda Burrows Adolph, daughter, Vanessa Lessig and husband, Russell, sons, Charles Adolph, IV, and Brian Adolph and fiancé© Kerri; sisters, Marion Duford and Jean Murphy; 5 grandchildren; and his faithful canine companion Cayce Cairo. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
