Chad T. Shoaf, 38, passed away at his home on Monday, March 27, 2017. Chad was born January 24, 1979 in Winston-Salem, NC. He was a loving son, friend, and brother. He loved being a father to his daughter, Blakely Ann Shoaf. He was employed with Piedmont Mechanical Services and he loved working on classic cars. He is preceded in death by his father, John Shoaf, paternal grandparents Henry and Thelma Shoaf, and maternal grandparents Raymond and Imogene Presswood. He is survived by his mother and step-father Annette and Jimmy Stilley of Winston-Salem, his girlfriend Karane Alexander, sister Vandee Shoaf Gilbert, brother John (Michelle) Shoaf Jr., step-brother Tim (Amber) Knight, step-sisters Christy (Gabe) Wykes and Candy (Jason) Annas, aunts Carolyn (Earl) Reeves, Jannette Presswood, Debbie (Vince) Marino, Kim (Les) Littlejohn, uncle Billy Ray Presswood, and many special cousins and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at Hanes Baptist Church located at 4210 Sabrina Lake Rd. Winston-Salem on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to the funeral at Hanes Baptist Church.
