Chad Goins

Mr. Chad Davis Goins, 52, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center after complications following surgery. He was born in Forsyth County on October 15, 1965 to Jannie McGee Goins and Junior Davis Goins. Chad lived in Raleigh for the last 20 years and was employed at PRA Health Sciences. He was an accomplished pianist. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Annie Goins, and maternal grandparents, Gray and Verna McGee. He is survived by his parents, Jannie and Junior Goins; one sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Billy Brown; three special nephews, Elijah "Eli" Bill Brown, Nathan Davis Brown, and Christian Hayes Brown of Elkin, NC.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors of Novant Health Cardiothoracic Surgeons and the nurses and staff of ICU and CVSU2 for their kindness and care. They would also like to thank Chad's many friends and extended family in Winston-Salem, Raleigh and Wilmington. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, August 4th at Brim's Grove Baptist Church, 3509 NC Hwy. 268, Pilot Mountain, NC, 27041. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM.
