Cecil James Jimmy" Stewart, Jr.

WALKERTOWN-Cecil James ""Jimmy"" Stewart, Jr. 58, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1951 in Forsyth Co. to Jewell Whicker Stewart and the late Cecil James Stewart, Sr. Jimmy lived his entire life in Walkertown and was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, and the Walkertown Civic Club. He retired from the Winston Salem Forsyth Co. School System. In addition to his mother surviving are his sister, Linda King and husband George of Walkertown; his brother, Terry W. Stewart and wife Robin of Southern Shores; nieces and nephews that he loved and loved to pick on, Justin L. Stewart of Southern Shores, Christin King Bailey and husband Barney of Mooresville, Jennifer King of Greensboro, and Britton L. Stewart of Southern Shores; a favorite of Jim's was his great-nephew, Gray Bailey of Mooresville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Autrey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Stewart family.
