Catherine Laray Ziglar

Walnut Cove – Catherine Laray Ziglar, 49, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her home and is now at peace with our Lord and Savior. She was born in Forsyth County on May 1, 1974, to the late James Thomas Ziglar and Lounary Marie Pyrtle Ziglar. Cathy loved spending time with her family and her children, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She enjoyed old time country music, riding motorcycles and watching the Golden Girls reruns. In addition to her parents Cathy was preceded in death by one sister, Angie Landreth, and her longtime companion, Kip Hoskins.

Left to cherish her memory are, her two loving children, James “Tyler” Ziglar (Glorimar), and Brianna Lee (Cheavez Clapp), three brothers; Ronnie Ziglar, Dale Ziglar (Marty), and Donnie Ziglar, her sister, Sherri Westmoreland (Greg), her grandchildren, the two loves of her life, Cheavez, Jr. “C.J.” and Kingstin, many special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a special friend, James.

 There will be a private family service scheduled at a later date and a private family viewing was held.
