Catherine Elizabeth Williams-Davila

KERNERSVILLE- Catherine Elizabeth Williams-Davila, 49, passed away, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A native of Queens, New York, Mrs. Davila was born November 29, 1963 to Reba Grimes Williams and the late Charles Benjamin Williams. Catherine was attending Salem College to pursue her passion in speech therapy. She loved children and was also very artistic. She used her gifts by doing arts and crafts with her children at church, with special needs children, and she also volunteered her time at the Art Based school in Winston-Salem. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Davila is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Felix Davila; four children, Edward Charles, Felix Mathew, Catherine Victoria and Joseph Michael; mother and father in laws, Migdalia Lucido and George Joseph Lucido. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at The Bridge Kernersville Campus with Pastor David McGee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
