Catherine Gough Cotner

Catherine Gough Cotner, 79, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1932 in Concord, VA, the daughter of the late Hubert Lacy and Rosalie Drinkard Gough. Ms. Cotner was retired from B&O Furniture Company following many years of service. Her family was the center of her life. Survivors include three daughters, Karen Chandler, Susan Dinkins and husband, David all of Winston-Salem and Darlene McAlister and husband, Jack of Waterloo, SC; one son, Scott Cotner and wife, Fran of Danville, VA; one brother, David Gough and wife, Mary of Point Harbor; five grandchildren, Amy Chandler, Tanya Heath, Lacy Dinkins, Shelby Dinkins, and Lisa Cotner; three great grandchildren, Brianna Reitzel, Alexis Fox and Dylan Fox; and a dear friend, Brigitte Taylor. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Lee Strange officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Concord Cemetery in Concord, VA.
