Carolyn Haynes Talbert

Carolyn Haynes Talbert, 67, of Winston-Salem was shepherded into eternity by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 7, 2016. She was born on October 7, 1949, to Sherrill and Betty Wellons Haynes, who preceded her in death. She fought a courageous battle with cancer but ultimately accepted that the Lord wanted to take her home and is now reunited with her first daughter, ""Little Reneé"". The family is thankful Carolyn is free from pain and now rejoicing. Carolyn will be remembered for her dedication, love and care for her precious daughter, Christie. All who knew Carolyn will remember her compassionate heart, contagious smile and quick wit. She was blessed with many wonderful friends. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Christie Talbert; sister, René Hutchins; brothers, Vernon Haynes and wife, Valerie; Bob Haynes and wife, Dottie; fiancé, Jack Holden and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Dan Hipply officiating.
