Mrs. Carolyn Clark Snider, 71, of Winston-Salem was called home following a brief illness on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 27, 1940 , the daughter of the late, Cecil and Juanita Clark. Mrs. Snider was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Clemmons and retired from Food Lion following over 20 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Snider Duggins and two sisters, Ginny (Virginia) Hellard and Peggy Kerschbaum. Survivors include her husband, Paul F. Snider of the home; one son, Larry Snider and wife, Michelle of Winston-Salem; three daughters, Susan White and husband, Tim of Winston-Salem and Debbie Caudill and husband, Jerry of Kernersville and Paulette Tilley and husband, Toby of Kernersville; two dearly loved nieces, Annette Sullivan and husband, Steve and Lynn McClearen and husband, Kenneth; thirteen grandchildren, Zach, Megan, Austin, Nichole, Jamie, Niki, Alivia, Christi, J. W., Alyssa, Adam, Andy and Danielle; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Otelia Huggins and husband, Grady, Faye Loftin and husband, Terry, Jean Dellinger and husband, George and Bobbie Byers and husband, John; many dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Carolyn Wooten. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Deval Mason officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
