Carolyn Jaynes

Mrs. Carolyn Little Jaynes, age 88, of Winston Salem passed away, April 18, 2022. She was born October 22, 1933 in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Waymon Oscar Little and Bertie Player Little. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Jaynes; son, Gregory Earl Jaynes; sisters, Faye Ellen Cobb, Alma J. Little; brothers, Wayne Cleveland Little, and Harold Eugene Little. Carolyn played varsity basketball in high school.  She attended Anderson college and Pensacola junior college. She graduated with a degree in accounting, in 1970. She worked for Covington Construction, Forsyth Country Club and retired in 2017 from Club Forms. Her husband, son and she played in a band called Country Credentials. She attended Mt. Tabor Methodist Church. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and friend. We will miss her so very much. Mrs. Jaynes is survived by her sister, Jerrel L. Bell; nieces and nephews, Teddie Bell, Tammy Bell, Scott Bell, Mike Cobb, Kyle Deal, Jamie Little, Brad Deal, Hayden Little, Zachery Little; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayse Goodson, Austin Henley, Andrew Bell, Riley Frazer, Hayden Frazer, Kelsey Frazer, Danielle Cobb, Caleb Cobb, Shane Ferrell, Jason Crawford. A private service will be held at a later date.
