Carola Emilie Baumeister Brdlik

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Carola Emilie Baumeister Brdlik died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born in Wurzburg Germany, the daughter of the late Dr. Ludwig Leonhart and Hildegard Leipold Baumeister. Mrs. Brdlik was a former resident of Green Township, Ohio, and Jupiter, FL. Carola was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brdlik. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret 'Peggy' Weegar of Kernersville; one son, Dr. Charles Brdlik and wife, Kim of Lake Charles, LA.; one brother, Rudolf Baumeister and wife, Donna of Venice, FL.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Weegar and wife, Amy of Raleigh, Kathryn Weegar of Greensboro, and Courtney Brdlik of Auburn AL. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
