Mrs. Carol “Sue” Warner, 78, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Alamance County on August 6, 1945, the daughter of the late Ed Wofford and Carol Estelle Terrell James. She retired from Forsyth Medical Center in 2003 with 21 years of service as a proud LPN nurse. Sue was also a Weight Watchers leader in Winston-Salem for about two years but also in several different areas as well. She was very food conscience, enjoyed exercising and studying different diet programs. Sue is survived by her husband, Carlos Warner; two nephews, Christopher Parrish and Cameron Parrish; A brother, Steve James; a sister, Kelly Parrish; a great-niece, Emma Parrish and a great-nephew, Aiden Parrish. A memorial Service celebrating Sue’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Nazareth Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rural Hall with Rev. Kevin Powers officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
