Carol Jean Lapinsky

Carol Jean Lapinsky, 63, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. She was born January 11, 1953 in Windber, PA. Carol attended First Baptist Church of Stanleyville and was active in the Children's Ministry. She enjoyed caring for others and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Carol was preceded in death by her father, James Lapinsky and her grandmother, Bertha Leipchack. She is survived by her daughter, Gabe Fresch (Don); granddaughter, Chyanne Fresch; mother, Virginia Chapman; soulmate and life-partner, Rich Janik; sister, Gail Stotler (Charles); brother, Robert Lapinsky (Marty); aunt, Edie Coleman (Bob); uncles, Larry Leipchack (Bonnie) and John Leipchack (Shirley); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville in Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
