Carol deFluiter Hollar

KERNERSVILLE- R. Carol deFluiter Hollar, 71, died Sunday, January 4, 2009 at her home. She was born April 10, 1937 in Marrow Co., Ohio to the late Roger Clark and Ruth Violet deFluiter. Mrs. Hollar was an active member of Kernersville Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She worked as Dr. Hollar's office manager. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Clark deFluiter. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Wilbur Peter Hollar of the home; one son, Timothy Peter Hollar; one daughter, Patricia Louise Hollar Head both of Kernersville; one grandchild, Christopher Lee Head of Kernersville; two brothers, Leroy Franklin deFluiter and wife Joan of Parker, Colorado, and Gerald Dean deFluiter and wife Nancy of Kernersville; five nephews and two nieces. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Kernersville Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Don Davis, and Church Elder John Hodgkin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kernersville Seventh-Day Adventist Church Community Service, PO Box 249 Kernersville, NC 27284.
