Carol Peoples Bennett

WALKERTOWN - Carol Ann Peoples Bennett, 66, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Carol was born on May 12, 1949 in Forsyth County to Bluford Johnson and Maybelle Morphies Peeples. Carol was very devoted to her family and had a strong work ethic. She was also dedicated to her church family at Baux Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Bluford Peeples and her husband, Rex Bennett. Surviving are her mother, Maybelle Peeples; two brothers, Johnson Peoples and Carl Peeples (Donna); a nephew, Matthew Peeples; three special aunts, Marie, Eva and Treva Morphies; and one uncle, Roy Morphies (Norma Jean). A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baux Mountain Baptist Church, 4334 Lake Woussicket Rd, Germanton, NC 27019.
