Carl Lonnie O'Neal, III

Mr. Carl Lonnie O'Neal III, 73, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1941 in Forsyth County and was raised by his grandparents, Carl and Willie O'Neal. He was baptized into the body of the Church of Christ. He was a Mechanic Specialist and retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company following 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an infant son, Carl Jeffrey O'Neal. Survivors include his beloved wife, Elaine O'Neal of the home; one son, Jeffrey Todd O'Neal; two daughters, Kimberly O'Neal and Ashley Hamman; three grandchildren, twins Samantha and Diana Hollaway and Cheyenne Hamman all of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. G. L. Brown officiating. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104. The arrangements are by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.
