Mr. Tommy Jolly, 78, of Winston-Salem, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born January 11, 1944, in Statesville, NC the son of the late Margie and Carl Jolly. Mr. Jolly enjoy the outdoors, hunting, canoeing, fishing, walking in the woods, and hugging trees. He loved all of God’s nature and animals especially watching deer and birds. He also loved to watch all sports with football and NASCAR being his favorite. While living in Winston-Salem, he was a member of North Point Church. He loved people, as well as to talk and offer words of encouragement. He was always willing to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Sarah Kiger and her husband Lester Kiger also his sister Phyllis Swaim and her husband Jackie Swaim. He is survived by his two daughters, Connie Caldwell (Neil) and Carla Burcham (Rodney); a grandson, Brycen Burcham; two granddaughters, Addison Burcham and Brittney Caldwell; two sisters, Gayle Holloway (Howard) and Mary Smith (Bob); a brother, Issiac Jolly; numerous nephews and nieces; his extended family in Jefferson, NC; his girlfriend, Cloyie Dolinger and her granddaughter, Mackenzie; and Lela and her family. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday January 28, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Allen Whiteheart and Rev. Jonathan Craven officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
