Carl Eugene Fritz

Lewisville - Carl Eugene Fritz, age 84, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015. Carl was born in York, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1931 to Carroll Sydney Fritz and Catherine Caroline Leckrone. He attended Penn State University, before marrying his wife, Ann. They had five boys over the next 14 years. The family moved to Gastonia, NC in 1973, then to Lewisville, NC in 1976. Carl started his career as a Draftsman, later becoming a Plastics Engineer. Carl spent the majority of his career at AMP Incorporated, which became Tyco International Ltd. Plastics were his hobby as well as his profession. He was a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers for many years, and read plastics magazines and articles in his spare time. Carl was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years; his son, David; and his parents. He will be missed by his family and friends.
