FLYNT Rural Hall - Mr. Carl Manuel Flynt, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late James Ernest and Clara Faulk Flynt. Mr. Flynt was a member and Deacon at Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church in Germanton. He was a school crossing guard at Rural Hall Elementary for more than 25 years. Mr. Flynt was a regular bicycle rider in the Rural Hall and Stanleyville area. He also enjoyed walking and reading. Surviving Mr. Flynt are one sister, Bettie Alieen (Robert) Felts of Pfafftown; one niece, Sharon (Mark) Boles of Yadkinville; one nephew, Greg Felts of Mocksville; two great-nephews, Joshua and Daniel Boles; and one great-niece, Amanda Boles and two very special friends Deborah and Carol. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 20 at Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 39, Germanton, NC 27019.
