Carl Wesley Binkley

Carl Wesley Binkley, 87, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. Carl was born in Forsyth County to the late Arlington Jones and Leoma Anna Dull Binkley. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was of the Baptist Faith. Carl retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 32 years. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Stewart Binkley; and a daughter, Janice Lynn Miller. Surviving are his wife, Anne Spears Nifong Binkley; one daughter, Lisa Kaye Hayes (Randy) of Winston-Salem; a son-in-law, Yale Miller, of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Brian Miller (Deanna) and Melissa Miller; one great-grandson, Andrew Miller; two step daughters, Mary Ann Nifong, of White Oak and Roxanne Nifong Carroll (Tom) of Sykesville, MD; and two step grandsons, James Nifong and Jason Lackey. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, at Forsyth Memorial Park with James Nifong and Jason Lackey officiating.
