Caleb Freitag

Mr. Caleb Reed Freitag, 33, of Boonville, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born in Forsyth County on October 20, 1987, to Keith Edward and Sue Ann Arant Freitag. Caleb was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church. He graduated from North Davidson High School, Class of 2006, and attended Gardner-Webb University and Forsyth Technical Community College. Caleb was an avid golfer and spent quite a bit of time playing at Salem Glen Country Club. During high school, he made it to the state finals in golf. Caleb was a manager at TGI Fridays. He was very honest and humble, and will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death is his father and brother, Seth Freitag. Surviving is his mother, Sue Arant Freitag; life partner, Brittany Byrd; two children, Aubrey Lee Freitag and Abigail Grace Freitag; two stepchildren, Jaci Craft and Eddie Craft; brother, Matthew Freitag; sister, Emily Freitag and husband Matt Lettrich of Carolina Beach; and a nephew, Cameron Lettrich.

A funeral service will be conducted in his honor 11:00 AM Friday, April 23, 2021, at Friedberg Moravian Church, officiated by the Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. and the Rev. Dan Nelson. Interment will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
