Bynum Coolidge Johnson

Mr. Bynum Coolidge Johnson, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 14, 1924 in Forsyth County to Thomas Calvin and Cora Ziglar Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from McLean Trucking Company with 35 years of service. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. He loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters. Surviving are his wife, Juanita H. Johnson; one daughter, Angela Carr of Georgia; two grandchildren, April Carr Wyche of Charlotte and Valerie Carr Cross of Ohio; four great grandchildren, Kalee, Jordan, Robert and Kadin; and friends too numerous to mention. A graveside service with military rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Ann Dalton officiating.
