Mrs. Burke Arehart Jensen, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 18, 1938. She graduated from Purdue University with a BS in English and received her MS at Emory University. Burke moved to Los Angeles and worked in public relations for Xerox, where she met her husband, Marvin. They were married in June 1979 and were transferred to Winston-Salem. She later started her own company called Fox Hill Marketing Services. Burke and her husband started a small hobby farm. Burke, a true city girl, soon learned about beef cattle, horses, chickens and gardening. She was a member of several organizations which includes BMWCCA where she was VP of the South-Central Region and was the editor of the local newsletter, she also was a Sports Car enthusiast writing TSCC Newsletters and performing autocrosses and rallies. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Jensen. Burke’s parents passed away many years ago and she had no siblings and has no known living relatives.
