Mrs. Bunny Thompson Llewellyn, 81, of Clemmons, passed away at Trinity Elms Health & Rehab on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Born in Winston-Salem on March 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth Thompson. Bunny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a devout Christian. She loved sharing the love of the Lord and was a faithful member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. Bunny was a secretary for many years and ended her career as a nursing assistant. Bunny volunteered with the American Red Cross for 26 years and received the prestigious Mazie Woodruff Award for a lifetime of service to others. In addition to her parents, Bunny was preceded in death by her husband, Larry T. Llewellyn and a brother, Harold Willis "Bill" Thompson, II. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Guyer and wife, Karen; stepson, James Llewellyn and wife, Tracie; stepdaughter, Penny Reiner and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Kelli Bartolo-Mishoe, Mary Vance Calhoun, Emily Llewellyn, Alexis Reiner, Alaina Reiner, and her adopted granddaughter, Tania Rodriguez. Bunny is also survived by her sisters, Sammy T. Poteate and Marcia T. Felts and husband, Mike. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard with the Rt. Rev. Sam Gray officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037 or New Philadelphia Moravian Church, 4440 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Llewellyn.
