Buddy Gerald Lockhart

Buddy Gerald Lockhart Sr., 75, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 14, 2023, at home surrounded by family and his beloved dogs.  He was born September 27, 1947, in Polk County, NC.  Buddy was a hard worker and loving family man. He worked as a welder on gas lines for Distribution Construction Co. for over 40 years before his retirement. He was a simple man who enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies, watching Clemson football, fishing, and being the profound “wise cracker” we all loved. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Brenda R Lockhart, his daughter Tammy Jones, his three grandchildren JoAnne, Mitchell and Ariel Jones. A sister, Rebecca L. Williams (John), Niece Kimberly Fowler (Gary), and nephew John Williams, as well as other (great) nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
