Bryan Wayne Heath

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Bryan Wayne Heath, 41, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his home in Birmingham, Alabama. Bryan was born on July 17, 1972 in Forsyth County to Wayne and Linda Heath. Bryan was a graduate of East Forsyth High School and the University of Virginia. He was a 4-year Letterman for the Virginia Cavaliers Football Team and a member of UVA Chapter - Sigma Chi Fraternity. Bryan loved the outdoors, enjoying sports, hunting and fishing. He was genuinely kind and shared his love for youth by coaching Homewood youth baseball and football. Bryan was dedicated to his family and friends, especially his two children, whom he loved dearly. Bryan is leaving a heritage of integrity, hard work, and love - qualities instilled in him by his parents. He shared his kindness with many special friends that will miss him dearly. Bryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leon and Evelyn Heath; his maternal grandfather, William Jones; uncles and aunts, Gary (Barbara) Jones and Bill (Joy) Bumgarner. Surviving are his parents, Wayne and Linda Heath; one son, James Matthew Heath; one daughter, Ellen 'Ellie' Tyler Heath; his brother, Zach (Lauren) Heath; one niece, Hadley Heath; his maternal grandmother, Eva Jones; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, co-workers and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 9, 2013 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Cash and Rev. Ellis Rouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Sanctuary.
